Sydney is full of fun adventurous activities and tours for during the school holidays, we have a guide that will give you some great ideas over these school holidays to do with your children and tweens. Whether you’re looking at doing free activities or booking in some fun tours we have a  guide that will help you organise your days. Stress Free holidays sound like a perfect holiday ! YES.. so the most effective way to achieve this is to plan your days so that you can get the most out of this quality time you have with your kids.

Sydney is a big city but we are lucky to have such a free open destinations with so much to see and explore, if you are a local you may think you have seen it all hopefully we can inspire you to try something new and go somewhere you haven’t been before there are so many hidden gems around the City.

Let’s start with our beautiful coastline and beaches. This is the perfect day out with the kids, pack the beach toys, an umbrella and a picnic and head down to the beach for a fun playful day with the family . Bondi beach has plenty of kid-friendly activities,cafes and Coogee pavilion has a kids play area. You can go swimming in the rock pools if you’re wanting somewhere calm to swim without the waves, great for the little toddlers to swim here. Manly is also another great spot , you can hire bicycles from Manly Bike Tours and ride along the coastline taking in the spectacular views. From there you can walk up to Shelly Beach which is a protected cove perfect for snorkelling, swimming and paddle boarding.

Another really fun activity is Bondi Surf Experience this is a great way to get  the family and kids out into the water and standing on their feet on the first lesson, now this is definitely a must do activity if you have not tried surfing. This very popular beginner session teaches you how to safely enter the water , giving you the knowledge and techniques to feel confident when paddling out to catch some waves. This is a great way to advance your skills and knowledge with surfing , the staff love what they do and will make you feel safe the whole time.

As we mentioned earlier there are endless activities to explore, make these holidays special , making memories with your kids will be something you all will not forget. Family days out are so important and your children will love spending that quality time with you.

Throughout the city at every stop along the way you will find more of Sydney’s most popular attractions and activities and one of the best ways to get around the city is on the Hop On Hop Off cruises. While you are in the city it’s a must to visit the famous Sydney Harbor Bridge, if your a local and have seen the bridge but have never taken the time to take in its beauty then make the time to do the climb as a family or walk across the bridge and take in the magnificent views outlooking onto the Sydney harbor , and for the visitors coming to stay in this beautiful city this will be an experience you will never forget. When you get to the top of the bridge it really does take your breath away, this is perfect for the kids they absolutely love doing this tour . Make sure to always book your guided tour in advance if you are going to do the bridge climb and if you would prefer to walk across the bridge then make sure you walk to the middle this is the perfect spot for some family selfies – the views WOW!

Luna Park is another awesome place to visit with the family these school holidays , it’s definitely a day trip out so pack a lunch and save yourself some money , cause we all know kids love the rides and the food here can be pricey so best to come packed with drinks and food. This park is very much a vintage attraction with Martin Sharps iconic face at the entrance, the wooden rickety rides and historic features gives this park a sense of adventure and history , this is a classic themepark the whole family will enjoy. 

Sea Life Sydney Aquarium is also a must see these holidays, located in the heart of Darling Harbour, Sea Life takes you on an underwater journey of fascinating discovery with 12 themed zones throughout the aquarium. So get the kids out of the house on those lazy days for an underwater adventure, every school holiday their aquarium hosts activities packed full of fun from character live shows to kids workshops and adventure filled games. Not only will your family and kids have a great day exploring the aquarium, your kids have the opportunity to learn more about our sea life creatures and they will be fascinated by the information about all the sea creatures. This aquarium is also all indoors so for those rainy days or really hot days out this is the perfect place to be .
